Fake article and testimonial, Silke: https://en.minghui.org/html/articles/2026/2/15/232721.html
The Minghui website is completely controlled by covert agents. How they did it specifically I don’t know yet, but the typical plot involves social engineering. They claim to be practitioners and then, with their spy resources, compile a list of practitioners who volunteer at Minghui and how they operate the website. Then they proceed to deceive in one form or another. In this case it is a systematic effort, so they are most likely being funded by an outside entity given the level of dedication: every single day most article submissions are forged and they have control over the posts by “Minghui Editorial Board” too, publishing a fake one on August 31. They exploit people’s indifference and tendency to disbelieve anything said that they don’t know about.
The uncritical average practitioners– the individuals who practice one day and not the other– can’t detect the fake articles on Minghui because they take everything said positively about Falun Dafa at face value. It isn’t that they can’t know that Minghui was taken over. The issue of saboteurs praising and undermining something at the same time is discussed in the books of Falun Dafa, as is the issue of secret agents deceiving practitioners and claiming to practice. So, it shouldn’t be a new concept for them. But there is one thing that makes them disbelieve that this is happening to Minghui: it isn’t the CCP secret agents this time but instead spies from other agencies across the world. It is something new and different that came along and is unexpected.
Take this quote from the article, which is supposed to have come from a German practitioner. It uses a lot of similar wording taken from practitoners who are happy to have begun practicing Falun Dafa but is obviously insincere and cynical because the agents don’t understand Falun Dafa: “Dafa is so immense, generous, and compassionate in spreading to all. And it is so easily to learn because everything is free and open. All we need to do is open our minds to receive it.”
“All we need to do is open our minds to receive it” is not true. It isn’t easy to obtain the Fa (Falun Dafa) and no Western practitioner says that because every single one knows that there are cultural and language barriers that have to be overcome, plus the issue of predestined relationship. Even if you know the Chinese language, there are obstacles because of your notions formed from living in modern times. Even native Chinese need a period of adjusting to the books’ writing style.
That quote is different than quotes from practitioners who say things that are off track because it gives away that the secret agents are struggling to understand Falun Gong and so they go over the top.
