Answers to questions related to the practice of Falun Dafa can be found in the books and lectures on the official website, FalunDafa.org, written by Master Li Hongzhi. Only Master Li Hongzhi teaches Falun Dafa while assistants in any region can introduce you to the practice, free of charge. Find a local assistant on the official website to teach you the exercises. Nothing costs money in the practice.

“Falun Dafa Information Center” is not a representative organization despite its name and has never been mentioned by Master Li Hongzhi in any lecture, something you can verify by asking the organization. Though it has decided to publish some of Master Li’s articles recently to make itself look more official, largely it is non-practitioners who are involved in it. Additionally, its director, Levi Browde, is a non-practitioner who was caught posing as a practitioner in 2002, using the practice as a cover. Browde decided later to take up the cause of explaining the persecution of Falun Gong and has been allowed to do this. His discussions about Falun Gong are from the persective of a non-practitioner.

I don’t issue press releases to the news media or answer reporters’ questions on behalf of Falun Dafa as if it is a religion or hierarchical organization. All activities in Falun Dafa are loosely organized, and participation is up to the practitioners themselves, however much they decide individually. I set up this title and website to address issues, out of my own initiative, being a highly qualified, advanced practitioner.

Epoch Times, NTD, Sound of Hope, and other practitioner-directed projects are not official media outlets of Falun Gong but rather entities that certain groups of practitioners decided to set up. How Epoch Times and NTD have covered certain topics reflects their own decisions as practitioners, and they may not have actually followed the requirement to avoid participating in politics.
