1. REMOVAL OF TRANSLATIONS BY “TEAM YELLOW”

The translation group “Team Yellow” are practitioners exhibiting the attachment of zealotry, as explained in Lecture Eight of Zhuan Falun (US Translation, 2000) in the section “Attachment of Zealotry.” They behave in a mentally abnormal way while they go about translations because of their excitement for being part of the practice. (Translation groups didn’t have names in the past before them.)

Until around 2015, there were never problems with the English translations of lectures and articles. Chinese does not carry all of the specific information provided by other languages, so there is, in certain ways, a lot of room for translations to differ. But for translations of Master Li’s articles, they were always consistently translated and from reading all of them, you get a sense of what is a proper translation, even though you don’t know Chinese. You start to pick up Chinese vocabulary and how it should be translated. There is nothing significant that needed to be changed or improved on. Then came along a pretentious group of Westerners called “Team Yellow” whose understanding of the practice is at a very low level, whose command of Chinese actually is inadequate, and who wanted to make translations into something he (or they) wanted so that they could make the practice their own. This started to cause such major interference for me in 2021 that I took it as a sign to go learn Chinese. That was not feasible, so I decided to make a repository of English translations as they existed before the tampering occurred from this destructive group. Why didn’t Master Li Hongzhi get involved in this and stop them since he knows about the problem? That’s what the average practitioners ask, too, and they use it as an excuse not to get involved in or deal with problems, no matter how serious they get, saying that Master would get involved if it were actually an issue. For one, a lot is left for people to figure out. Every item on this agenda is a problem that the practitioners needed to identify on their own, including after I told them, but they did not and so the problems are deliberately allowed to persist by Master Li until a long period has passed and then, at the end, they will be informed (and presumably psychologically devastated by their own irresponsibility). At the same time, I won’t just sit around and allow them, so there is this agenda. What I say below will have to happen eventually and the people involved should follow it today before it is too late.

• All translations posted by self-described translation “Team Yellow” must be removed from the official Falun Dafa website. All modifications they made to old, finished translations must be reverted. The new titles they made for lectures must be reverted to their original titles. These translators are now instructed to stop acting as translators. They are being told directly here that they have committed wrongdoing by violating the prominent and serious requirement of the practice not to make interpretations and definitions, with this time them looking to get away with it in the activity of translation.
  • Maintaining anonymity as “Team Yellow” is actually optional. You could put your name and contact information underneath the translations, though it isn’t common. But you aren’t allowed to remain anonymous if a fellow practitioner inquires about who you are. We have this requirement of being open and aboveboard. You have no reason to insist on your anonymity among practitioners whatsoever, and it shows you are actually bad people, Team Yellow. You are wrong, you are not cultivators of Dafa, and you should expect karmic consequences for what you have done to undermine the Fa. You don’t even understand the practice and want to live in a fantasy reality of what it could be for your own warped desires where you live as a pseudo-academic.
• Chinese practitioners who know this group must examine themselves to find fault as to why they went along with them. All other practitioners must examine themselves to find fault as to why they were not complaining about this group’s behavior. Native, bi-lingual Chinese speakers know that their translations are bad, so why did they allow them?
  • “Team Yellow” consists of one or more Westerners who are not native Chinese speakers, their command of Chinese is self-evidently not that good, and they are attached to their old or current life at a university and want to turn the practice into something academic for themselves and then push the junk they have concocted on everyone. They are aggressive in promoting their awful and deranged translations, which are both inaccurate and interpretive. This is absolutely prohibited.
    • They hope to plunder the practice. They have changed the navigation link on the English Falun Dafa website for the exercise site contacts from “Contacts” to “Classes”. This desire of theirs to interpret our practice academically is this strong. It even manifested like this. We don’t hold classes. There aren’t courses, like that implies. Those are just the contacts for people to learn the exercises at the practice sites.
  • The role of a translator is to translate Master Li Hongzhi’s writings with fidelity, like translators did previously (who were rational and qualified). It is unprecedented what “Team Yellow” has done, which is translate to insert their individual notions and definitions.
  • The 2018 “Cultural Translation” of Zhuan Falun (made by this group) must be removed from the official Falun Dafa website, as this is an interpretive translation, changing the vocabulary in the text to what the translator wanted based on his knowledge of Western religions. Zhuan Falun Volume II specifically prohibits making such alterations and the activity of making translations is an avenue where these individuals thought they could find an exception.
    • They make pointless, nonsensical vocabulary substitutions that are nothing except odd because they want to dig into the meaning of the Chinese characters like an academic because they have not cultivated themselves.
  • They sometimes don’t want the words to say what they say in Chinese and they need to be removed. This is a most serious problem, that they don’t want the texts to say what they say and so they translate words or phrases into something different. It is an issue explained in detail in lectures and emphasized in the very first lecture of Zhuan Falun. There is no excuse for this to have happened whatsoever.
  • Translation Team Yellow must apologize for setting up their own website feedback forms on the official Falun Dafa website underneath their translations that intend to combat potential critics, asking the person to provide personal information about himself such as his education level and whether his has knowledge of a foreign language. This is not only inappropriate and forbidden, it is irrelevant to knowing whether a translation made by Team Yellow is off and a sign of their anxiety that they are on unstable ground. Translation Team Yellow must apologize for not answering communications from Special Coordinator John Pratt who made use of this web form, who informed them that their interpretive translations are prohibited. They must apologize for hiding from him and not identifying themselves despite repeated attempts to get a hold of them.
    • Falun Dafa is not theirs to plunder through the act of translation just because it does not have a wide Western audience at the current time.
    • Their translations are not valid, accurate, or acceptable.

2. REMOVAL OF LEARNFALUNDAFA.COM

Practitioners are certainly given free rein to promote the practice but there are requirements and standards.

• The unauthorized website LearnFalunDafa.com must be taken offline for multiple reasons, the first of which that it asks people to register for webinars and we don’t set up registrations and appointments for introducing people to the practice. There is also no indication on the website that it is unofficial which means that it is fraudulent. There is no mention of it being operated by practitioners exclusively. An outsider would think it was authorized by Master Li Hongzhi, and this is considered plundering of the practice for personal gain. The practitioners who are involved in it have not made it abundantly clear on the website that they did this on their own and this is a way for them to pretend like it is official. In any case, this format is prohibited because it engages in mass sales type of activity for introducing people to Falun Dafa. These practitioners are regarded by the Special Coordinator as being lonely and wanting to make friends by processing them through the website, dominating them by making them have to ask questions in a webinar and turning them into practitioners so they can have people underneath to talk to and feel like they are not alone in the West. But what is sad about this website is how selfish it is, that it tries to process people through a sales page rather than just let them access the books and videos online freely and normally on the official site. That’s actually quite serious and these practitioners are in danger of facing major karmic consequences. Other points made below are just to explain how bad it is to do this.
  • This website is inappropriate.
    • Practitioners are not allowed to collect personal information from people who are interested in the practice. This isn’t volunteering to assist. To the people who set up this website: don’t you feel uncomfortable providing personal information on web forms? So why are you asking other people to do it? This is something you are doing selfishly, to gain at the expense of Falun Dafa, and you are in danger.
      • Assistants provide contact information informally on the official website and are just available at practice sites if people want to show up and learn. They of course wouldn’t think of taking down anyone’s personal information if they don’t want to practice, as there is no reason to do that.
    • “Webinars” are not how Falun Dafa should be spread and it isn’t allowed to introduce the practice this way. It’s not right.
    • The tagline “Your Path to a Happier & Healthier You Starts Here!” is an improper and disrespectful way to spread the practice, which cannot be presented in a modern sales format with slogans.
      • Falun Dafa is not to be sold to the public as a way to be “happy and healthy” but is instead for serious cultivation practice.
  • At the bottom it says, “Copyright Learn Falun Dafa” but this website is not part of FalunDafa.org so how is there any copyright? What copyright do you think you hold? You need to wake up and realize that what you are doing is wrong.
  • This “LearnFalunDafa” website is part of a recent batch of unprecedented phenomena that undermines the practice just like the messed up “Team Yellow” group mentioned above.
  • ORDER: THE LEARNFALUNDAFA.COM DOMAIN NAME MUST BE REDIRECTED TO EN.FALUNDAFA.ORG. ALL INTERESTED PEOPLE WHO SUBMITTED CONTACT INFORMATION MUST RECEIVE AN APOLOGY LETTER FROM THE OPERATORS OF LEARNFALUNDAFA.COM EXPLAINING THEIR MISTAKE COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION. IT MUST INCLUDE A NOTICE THAT THE RECIPIENT’S CONTACT INFORMATION WILL BE DELETED BY THE OPERATORS OF LEARNFALUNDAFA.COM AND THAT THEIR WEBSITE WAS INVALID AND PLAGIARISTIC THE ENTIRE TIME. THEN THE PERSON’S CONTACT INFORMATION THAT WAS IMPROPERLY COLLECTED WITH THIS WEB FORM MUST ACTUALLY BE DELETED BY THE OPERATORS OF LEARNFALUNDAFA.COM. THE LETTER SHOULD EXPLAIN HOW TO ACTUALLY LEARN FALUN DAFA, WHICH IS TO VISIT THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE AND MAKE USE OF ITS CONTACT LIST.

3. EPOCH TIMES AND NTD ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PUBLISH MASTER LI HONGZHI’S ARTICLES.

Don’t you think that few people would understand the recent articles published by Master Li Hongzhi? So why would you start publishing them in the news media outlets in front of the public? To actually understand Master Li’s articles you have to have been introduced to the practice and this takes time. But then you want to publicize them in front of the whole world and this is undermining the Fa severely. Anyone might be visiting a news website whereas we only want someone who is interested in practicing reading Master Li’s articles. I know what it is, which is that you wanted the whole world to practice and you were eager to see that happen, so you broke the rules and started publishing Master Li’s articles when you thought you saw a chance.

Practitioners started publishing Master Li Hongzhi’s articles in 2023 after they saw “Why There Is Mankind,” which appeared to them to be something the world should read, and they decided on their own that it meant that they could start publishing Teacher’s articles. To justify their decision, they started grabbing non-practitioners they knew in their social network to read the article and give their reaction in Epoch Times articles in 2023. Then they took Teacher’s silence as acceptance or approval. Then they took the passage of time as even more confirmation of acceptance. Teacher’s silence isn’t approval or acceptance. Only the standards of the Fa determine what is right and wrong and it is up to you to know this and follow it. That is all!

• You can’t make up your own rules in Falun Dafa cultivation practice– nothing changed from before and you can’t publish Teacher’s articles like this in the news. You weren’t given permission. Why are you lying to yourself and everyone that you were?

ORDER: EPOCH TIMES, NTD, TUIDANG, SOUND OF HOPE, AND OTHER PRACTITIONER-AFFILIATED WEBSITES THAT ARE NOT MINGHUI OR FALUNDAFA.ORG MUST NOT PUBLISH MASTER LI HONGZHI’S ARTICLES.

4. PERFORMERS IN SHEN YUN MUST TAKE THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES OFFLINE, SUCH AS “3MUSKETEERS” AND “SHEN YUN COMMUNITY”, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE AUTHORIZED OR PERMITTED.

• Master Li Hongzhi specifically pointed out that ordinary people’s social media is a “demon’s den” and that he didn’t want to mix Shen Yun with it, so why did you not pay attention to this? It is still true and nothing has changed.
  • Teacher also said that he didn’t want to reveal too much of the show to people who wanted to attend so that audiences didn’t end up seeing too much before they got into their seats. He said that even what he put in the preview videos was a lot more than usual. So why are you and the other dancers repeatedly trying to pull back the curtain on everything, from props to practice sessions to stage effects, always trying to show the world behind the scenes– to people who aren’t going to go see it ever on YouTube? Aren’t you doing the complete opposite of what Teacher asked?! Also, you don’t have any Shan (Benevolence/Kindness) because you don’t care about people’s experiences of the show being fresh like Teacher explained.
  • We don’t want people seeing anything about the show before they attend. You just care about building up your own fame on YouTube with the Shen Yun name and your inside knowledge of it. You want to show off that you are dancers in Shen Yun.
    • Seemingly your goal was to get people to understand Shen Yun by using social media, but underneath that was actually your craving to be understood (reputation) and a desire for fame.
  • Not everyone thinks highly of social media and some will respect Shen Yun even more by seeing that no one who performs in it participates on it. So in this respect, Shen Yun can make people happy who don’t end up seeing the show. You remember that Master Li called social media a demon’s den? Other people think so too, and a lot of people have to use it and also feel trapped by the websites. They would like to see someone unaffected by the social media trend, a group who can succeed without it in the world, but that apparently isn’t you as individuals, who want to join the big dye vat and go down with the current of moral corruption! Follow what Master tells you and not what you humanly desire to do.
  • You think that the world doesn’t understand Shen Yun and you are going to take matters into your own hands by going on social media, but how did Shen Yun come to be a success before your social media profiles? It didn’t need you. You weren’t needed to help the world attend the show. You dance in the show and should just do that.
  • You keep saying the “USA” part of “3 Musketeers USA” to make sure everyone out there knows you are Americans. William is from Thailand and has an Asian accent. And what is more, some people might not want you to be American if they are seeing a Chinese show. Why did you take matters of public relations for the show into your own hands as dancers? You aren’t public relations. You dance in the show, you dopes.
• Shockingly, the dancers in Shen Yun who are part of this “3 Musketeers” have accepted donations on their YouTube profile, which would be bad enough if they did it on their own as practitioners (and then who would donate to them if they were not associated with Shen Yun?). They are already given a salary, so by taking donations on an unofficial social media channel aren’t they in a way stealing from Shen Yun because the money given to them through an online donation was not spent on a DVD or product that could be bought on the online store? Their whole education at Fei Tian was free for them and they are paid a salary by the show, so this is nothing except human greed for fame and money. This is so serious and these dancers think it isn’t because they have worked for the show from the beginning and believe that they can carve out exceptions for themselves. What does your veteran status give you to change the rules? Nothing. You have been around a long time and now you are disappointing everyone by undermining the show and the practice. All that it means is that after almost 20 years you went off track.
  • ORDER: “3 MUSKETEERS” MUST MAKE A SPREADSHEET OF THE DONATIONS THEY COLLECTED ON YOUTUBE AND SEND REFUNDS TO EACH PERSON, EXPLAINING THE MISTAKE. (SOME WHO DONATED IN SMALL AMOUNTS ARE CERTAINLY GOING TO HAVE BEEN SPIES, AS THEY’LL DO THIS). SEND THE SPREADSHEET TO THE SPECIAL COORDINATOR.
• Spies can be found in the comments of “3Musketeers,” and many are complimenting the dancers, who are unknowingly replying with thanks to spies.
