The social media profiles operated by three veteran Shen Yun performers under the name “3 Musketeers” originates from one place: their inability to tolerate a mild amount of pressure and misunderstanding from the outside world while Shen Yun is welcomed and celebrated everywhere they go. It is the obligation of every practitioner to initiate projects to help the outside world understand Falun Gong and the persecution taking place in China, in any way that fits the situation and can be accomplished, but for these performers that job is already achieved by them dancing on stage. The key issue is that they are riding off of the Shen Yun name to operate this YouTube channel while doing things in the videos that have nothing to do with it and absolutely do not represent it or other performers in the show. If they want to run a social media channel where they make short films and goof off, they can do that as long as they do not associate it directly with Shen Yun, because otherwise it gives the impression that their side videos are endorsed by and represent the show– something they have come to believe simply on account of having been dancing for the show for a long time. This then turned into a matter of ego where they can no longer be told that the social media profiles are unauthorized and unacceptable. Shen Yun is a very serious and fine show, its purpose is noble, while this effort of theirs to prove to the outside world they can fit in with it is something very wrong.

They aren’t allowed to explain the show (“What is Shen Yun?”) even though they did it. They aren’t allowed to talk about irrelevant matters “11 Things Americans Do That Asians [Don’t] Understand” that have nothing to do with Shen Yun while presenting themselves as performers in the show.

The videos below are very bad. They are wrong and can offend people who buy tickets to see the show, the majority of whom are Caucasian. I am personally offended by these videos. We have to remove this video channel, but Master Li will choose the time.
