They want to teach someone a lesson that they can dominate from the shadows in a certain classified division of the US government. They don’t have any supervision and at the same time people don’t know much about what they do. Because people don’t know about their tactics and the lengths they’re willing to go to, when it is explained, people find it hard to believe sometimes. On top of that, they exploit that fact. So then they have full protection from people’s ignorance and inability to believe the clandestine books of tactics and, troll army centers, and secret directives that can be carried out in broad daylight and no one will ever get caught.

This part is interesting. Regular looking people at these departments or agencies get wrapped up in harassment and psychological attack crimes, going along with it and sympathizing with it too from its warped and vicious perspective. There of course is no connection between what these people do in the classified side of our government and what people believe are the fixed boundaries for what they could possibly get away with. But people need to stop being so naive: when a group is out of sight and also engages in clandestine activities, it can very well develop its own things that it gets away with in its own cult and social network, where it develops its own standards for vigilante justice and investigation. They all of a sudden have a pressing need for surveillance-based investigation of a target, with practices that sit far outside what anyone would ever believe exist in the majority. Really, only a small percentage of people know how easily they can get away with brazen acts of targeted espionage against civilians.

As far as I can tell, it is a cult extremely dedicated to its secrecy, exemplified by the Fight Club motto, the first rule of Fight Club is no one talks about Fight Club. With some in this group, gaining personal, private information about a person is a means to power. The collective that is this cult basically functions on this, regularly telling me.
